What on earth is going on with Style Source? A complete new look, a new logo, expansion in overseas operations. You'd think the economy was going strong and expanding just like GW tells us it is. The reality is that times are tough. Energy increases have permeated every facet of our economy, causeing a waterfall of price increases and erosion of our supply chain. Margins are squeezing ever tighter, and apparel prices at retail are falling. Gloomy? Perhaps, but we see this point in time as a confirmation of our strategies for survival in the post 2005 world of apparel sourcing.

The pundits tell us that when business is down it is time to take the offensive. The natural defensive posturing with overhead reductions and cost controls only prolong the agony. It takes a concerted positive effort to gain when there seems to be no way to do so.

Our website has become an industry resource. We hope you find the changes we have made, and will continue to make, furthers your ability to research and understand the trade. We will continue to manufacture domestically, while adjusting to the fluxes in the supply chain. Yes, minimums for custom manufacturing are increasing, but we have managed to find suppliers who continue to work towards keeping them manageable.
